Respiratory Illness Etiquette

As the pandemic evolves, SARS-CoV-2 is one of many viruses surrounding us. Additionally, we are experiencing a more significant cold and flu season and increased prevalence of RSV.  We ask that you continue to take personal responsibility and to demonstrate the following public health etiquette. If you are ill: 
  • Do not attend class, work, or other social gatherings. 
  • If you have respiratory symptoms and are interacting with others, please wear a high quality mask 
  • If you have symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, seek and perform an antigen test. 
  • If you are feeling particularly ill, Ithaca-based students should contact Cornell Health at 607-255-5155 and Cornell Tech students should contact
